– Art, to me is a creation of any kind that makes you feel something.

Collage.

A celebration of the beginning of a new artistic direction. Collage is based on a work created from torn movie posters and pages from old French magazines - merged into a colorful whole with strong presence and depth. The rug captures the sense of layering, intense color saturation and raw materiality, where each thread reflects Heathers exploratory and playful creative process.

The collection brings Heather Chontos' vibrant and dynamic visual language into the world of textiles. Each rug is hand-knotted to create the complex texture that captures the essence of her paintings. Through advanced dyeing techniques and carefully executed craftsmanship, the depth and color variations of her artwork are recreated, giving each rug an artistic expression and bringing a sense of vibrancy to any space.

Kaleidoscope.

Kaleidoscope is a rug that reimagines a pivotal artwork from an experimental period in Heather Chonto’s career—when she began working with antique linen and found fabrics. The result is a dynamic composition of color, form, and contrast, infused with traces of movement, exploration, and transformation. Through meticulous craftsmanship, the rug translates the original painting’s tactile qualities and intricate color play into a contemporary textile. It captures Chonto’s artistic vision in both hue and texture—offering a bold yet nuanced expression for the modern interior.

Blue Lake.

Blue Lake is inspired by a mirror-still lake in northern France — a place Heather Chontos passed daily during a time of personal transition. First created as a painting on linen, the artwork captures the muted light, deep blue hues, and quiet presence of the landscape. Translated into a rug, it retains that same sense of calm, with gentle tonal shifts and a soft, tactile surface. A visually harmonious piece — as much an artwork as it is a grounding element for an elegant, tranquil space.
