Stockholm Showroom – Extended Opening Hours:
On Sunday, November 30th, from 12:00 to 16:00 CET, our Stockholm showroom will be open with extended hours. Visit us to see and feel our products, including items in the Black Friday campaign as well as selections from our standard assortment.
Please note: Full-sized rugs cannot be taken home directly from the showroom. They will be shipped from our warehouse, and our team will gladly assist you with placing your order.
Stock Information:
If a product is marked as “temporarily out of stock” or “out of stock,” this reflects its current availability. Products will not be restocked at the discounted price, and exchanges for a different size or design after the campaign ends are not possible. However, all orders are covered by our 14-day return policy from the date of receipt.
Delivery:
Enjoy free shipping on all rugs.
Deliveries are made to the gate/door but additional services may be available in some markets at checkout.
Adjusted delivery times or scheduling specific delivery days is not possible.
Returns:
14-day return policy from the date the order is received.
Returns at the showroom are not possible.
Additional information: Unfortunately, our Black Friday offers will not be available in the United States at this time.
Are tariffs and tolls included in the shipping cost?
All prices in the shop include sales tax. We ship using DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), which means LAYERED covers all costs related to tariffs and shipping.
For customers in the United States:
When importing goods into the U.S., U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) may require the recipient to complete CBP Form 5106. This form registers the recipient as an "importer" with CBP and is sometimes necessary for international shipments—especially if the recipient has not previously imported goods into the U.S.
Does delivery include help with carrying the items inside?
All deliveries are made to the gate or property boundary, with no carrying service included. Currently, additional services—such as assistance with carrying—are available only at checkout and only for deliveries within Norway and Sweden.

What happens if items in my cart have different delivery times?
If you purchase multiple items with different delivery times, the order will not be split. The shipment will follow the longest delivery time and be delivered as one combined order. If you would like to split your order into two shipments, we recommend placing two separate orders.
Can I exchange the item after purchase?
We offer a 30-day return policy for items at regular price, including blankets, cushions, and rugs in standard sizes. Products purchased from our Archive, i.e. items at a reduced price, come with a 14-day return period. Made to order items, such as sofas and custom-sized rugs, are not eligible for return. We also do not accept returns of samples.

How long is the guarantee?
From the day of delivery, you have three (3) years exchange right. The guarantee covers all manufacturer defects and not faults caused by the customer or of other cause that Layered is not responsible for. For wear and tear, there is a guarantee of two (2) years.
Can I split my order into separate shipments?
No, if you would like to split your order into two shipments, we recommend placing two separate orders.
What size should I choose?
Three quick tips:
In the living room, the front legs of sofas and armchairs should rest on the rug, which should ideally extend about 20–30 cm beyond the furniture to create a balanced look.
In the dining room, the rug should be large enough to accommodate pulled-out chairs, ensuring it never feels too small.
In the bedroom, the rug should extend well beyond the bed to create a warm, cozy atmosphere.

Do you have a physical store?

Do you provide interior styling support?
Yes. We offer complimentary interior consultations, either in your home or virtually.
My rug has pressure marks from delivery — will they go away?
Creases may occur after transport or storage, especially if the rug has been rolled up. This is completely normal and not a manufacturing defect. To remove creases, turn the rug over, roll it tightly in the opposite direction, and let it sit for a few hours. Then unroll the rug and lay it flat – within a few days, it should return to its original shape.
Can I customize a rug?
Yes. We offer customization on most of our rugs. Through a seamless process, you can easily choose the size that best suits your space directly on each product page. As custom-made rugs are crafted just for you and cannot be returned, we’ve put together a few helpful guidelines to make your decision smooth and confident.

How well do your rugs withstand wear and tear?
Our rugs are made from the highest quality materials, making them exceptionally durable. However, like all rugs, they require proper care to ensure the longest possible lifespan. Learn more in our care guide.

Is shedding normal for this rug?
In the initial period, your rug may shed noticeable fuzz — this is completely normal and not a manufacturing defect. All tufted rugs experience some shedding when new. To minimize this, we recommend vacuuming regularly during the first six months. Over time, shedding will reduce significantly, though a small amount may continue throughout the rug’s life.
I got a stain on my rug — what should I do?
Have you discovered a stain or spill on your favorite rug? Don’t worry — with the right care, your rug can remain beautiful for years to come. Follow these effective tips to keep your rug looking its best.

Can the rug be washed?
We always recommend you to take your rug to a professional rug cleaner that performs level wash. When dry cleaning it is important that no chemicals containing trikloretylen are used. Learn more in our care guide.

Can your rugs be used with underfloor heating?
Most of our rugs are suitable for underfloor heating, but we recommend using a protective layer between the rug and the floor. For more information about the specific rug you plan to order, please contact our customer service.
Are your rugs compatible with robot vacuum cleaners?
We recommend checking your robot vacuum cleaner manufacturer’s guidelines for vacuuming rugs. Using a robot vacuum on rugs is generally fine; however, robot vacuums tend to be less powerful than traditional vacuum cleaners, so it may take longer to achieve a thorough clean.
What’s the difference between the sample sizes?
We offer two types of samples to suit different needs and help you make a confident long-term decision.
The 50 x 50 cm samples are recommended for patterned rugs or those with varying pile heights and textures, providing a clear and representative preview of the design and material.
The 11 x 18 cm samples are ideal when you want to focus solely on verifying color and quality.
Can I return items in-store/showroom?
No, unfortunately.
Can I pick up my order in-store/showroom?
At the moment, we do not offer in-store pickup for online orders. All orders are shipped directly to the customer’s specified delivery address.
Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?
Generally, you cannot change your address after the order has been processed. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that once an order has been shipped from our warehouse, we will not be able to make any changes to the delivery address. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@layeredinterior.com.
Can I choose a specific delivery time?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose an exact delivery time, but you will receive an estimated time window from the carrier.
Can I track my order?
Yes, you will receive a tracking link by email. You can also use the tracking number to follow your order on the carrier's website for more detailed tracking. If you can’t receive the delivery as agreed or need to reschedule, please contact the carrier immediately, as failed delivery attempts will lead to additional charges.
Where is my order?
Throughout the delivery process, you’ll receive regular updates via email to keep you informed every step of the way. The delivery company will contact you 1–3 days in advance to schedule a time slot that works best for you.
I received a damaged good, what shall I do?
In rare cases, rugs may sustain damage during transport. Upon delivery, if you notice any visible damage to the packaging or boxes, please refuse the delivery, document the damage on the carrier’s form, take photos, and notify us immediately. We will promptly arrange a replacement for you.
Even if the packaging appears intact, we strongly recommend unpacking and inspecting your rug as soon as possible to identify any hidden damage caused during transit. Please retain all original packaging materials in case a return is necessary.
Should you discover any damage upon delivery, it is essential to report this to us at info@layeredinterior.com within three days of receipt. This allows us to promptly notify the delivery company and resolve the matter efficiently.
When will I receive my refund?
The refund will be made within 14 days after we have received and accepted the return. Please note that the cost of the return will be deducted from your refund. This is always done to the same payment service that was used at the time of purchase.
