VILA VOLMAN
On the hunt for the perfect location, we travelled to Prague — and found ourselves standing before Vila Volman, a hidden modernist gem. We wanted a stage that reflected the architectural precision and emotional depth behind the designs of Teklan´s second collection.
A Modernist Masterpiece Reborn
Designed in 1938–39 by avant-garde architects Jiří Štursa and Karel Janů, the villa is one of the most striking examples of Czech functionalism. After decades of neglect, Villa Volman was meticulously restored by architect Marek Tichý and TAK Architects, reviving its original spirit with exceptional care.

Its clean horizontal lines, ribbon windows and sweeping terraces give it the presence of a sleek ocean liner anchored in the landscape — a perfect architectural echo of Teklan’s play with rhythm, geometry and scale.
Inside, the house reveals a softer side: travertine floors, marble bathrooms and warm wood details create a refined, cinematic atmosphere. Light and shadow shift throughout the day, much like the optical effects woven into the collection’s patterns.
