Customer Service Agent / Showroom Sales Assistant

Location: Östermalm, Stockholm

Scope: Part-time, flexible working hours during weekdays + every other Saturday

Do you want to combine your interest in design with a dynamic role in customer service and sales? LAYERED is now looking for a committed and service-minded individual to join our team on a part-time basis – perfect for someone who is currently studying!

About the Role

This position combines two key aspects of LAYERED:

Customer Service – where you will support our Customer Experience team in daily interactions with our customers via email and phone.

Showroom Sales – where you will represent LAYERED in our showroom and provide customers with a first-class experience.

You will play a vital role in ensuring a high level of service for both our Swedish and international customers.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone
  • Handle order processing, shipping bookings, claims, and follow-ups
  • Assist in the showroom during weekends and when needed
  • Provide professional advice about our products, focusing on design, materials, and function

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is currently studying and wants to work flexible hours during the week and every other Saturday
  • Is service-oriented, proactive, and organized
  • Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English
  • Has a strong interest in design and preferably some product knowledge
  • Is flexible and can step in on short notice (e.g. during illness, holidays, peak seasons)

Merits:

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales
  • Experience with systems such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gorgias, or similar
  • Background in retail, hospitality, or other service industries
