FURNITURE CARE
Bouclè
The bouclé fabric is a blend of 45% cotton, 15% wool, 13% polycarbonate, 19% viscose, and 8% polyamide. Bouclé is known as a fabric used by renowned fashion houses and has in recent years become a popular choice in exclusive interiors. The word bouclé means 'curly' in French, referring to the fabric's distinctive texture created by uneven loops and curls. The impression created is both glamorous and relaxed, making bouclé furniture a remarkable addition to your home. The fabric should only be dry cleaned.
Stains and dirt:
In case of spills, excess liquid should be immediately blotted away without rubbing the fabric. Allow the cleaned area to air-dry, and optionally use a brush or vacuum to gently restore the structure of the fibers. Please be cautious when sitting with dark, colored clothing, such as black and blue jeans, on light-colored sofas, as they may transfer color to the sofa.
Regularly vacuum your furniture, ideally once a week using a soft vacuum head. Shake/puff pillows regularly to maintain their even and fluffy shape. Also, rotate the pillows for a more even wear.
We recommend: To minimize the risk of sun fading, it's important to shield the furniture from intense sunlight during the summer months. We recommend to move the furniture away from the window when, for example, you're away during the summer or alternatively, cover it with a curtain or sheet to protect it from direct sunlight.
velvet
Our velvet furniture is of the highest quality, made of 100% cotton. Vacuum your furniture frequently, preferably once a week, using a soft nozzle. Do not press too hard—simply remove the dust and dirt that might otherwise penetrate the fabric. Also, shake seat and back cushions regularly to keep them even and nice. Rotate the cushions for more uniform wear. If you have indentations on your furniture, you can use steam from a steam iron or steamer to smooth out the fabric's pile. Please be cautious when sitting with dark, colored clothing, such as black and blue jeans, on light-colored sofas, as they may transfer color to the sofa.
Stains and dirt: If you spill something on your furniture, dampen the stain from the outside in to reduce noticeable color changes. If the liquid is oily, use an appropriate stain remover. Test it first in a less visible area, such as the back, to see how the fabric reacts. If the entire sofa needs cleaning, professional dry cleaning is recommended for removable parts.

Linen-look
The linen-look is made of natural fibers that become softer and finer over time. For our furniture in linen-look, the same care instructions generally apply as for velvet furniture.
Stain and dirt: The Linen Look contains staple fibers that can loosen and create pilling. These can be easily removed with a fabric shaver and prevented by regular vacuuming. Removable parts can be machine washed at 30 ℃ delicate cycle.

Corduroy
As velvet's more durable younger sibling, corduroy velvet combines a plush surface with a ribbed texture to create both an inviting and remarkable impression. The fabric is a blend of 48% polyester, 44% acetate, and 8% viscose. Thanks to the natural texture of the fabric, corduroy velvet is even more resilient than smooth velvet.

Leather
Leather is a genuine natural material that requires proper care to maintain its appearance. Leather only becomes more beautiful with time. Clean leather regularly for long-lasting durability. Vacuum your furniture regularly using a soft nozzle. Be careful never to use a nozzle with a coarse brush, as this can leave permanent scratches. Leather products should not be exposed to direct sunlight as it can cause fading and drying. Leather cleaning should be done at least once a year. Additionally, high heat can dry out and fade leather, so be extra careful not to place a leather-covered piece of furniture too close to a hot element. As a rule of thumb, always maintain a distance of at least 30 cm between the heat source and the furniture, and preferably more in high temperatures.
Oil for leather and leather products: Leather conditioner should be applied to a clean surface. Take a lint-free cloth and apply the leather conditioner to the leather. Let it soak in for a few hours. Wipe off excess conditioner with another cloth. It also works well using your own hand, as body heat helps the conditioner penetrate the leather more easily.
Stains and dirt: In case of spills, always blot immediately with paper to prevent the leather from absorbing the liquid. Afterwards, easily wipe clean with a wrung cloth and dry with paper. For more stubborn stains, you can use a leather cleaner specifically designed for leather furniture upholstery.
However, remember to treat the leather upholstery with a new leather cream or leather conditioner afterward to protect and moisturize the material. Always use high-quality leather care products designed specifically for leather-upholstered furniture. Avoid strong chemicals, solvents, or cleaners, as they can cause more harm than good.
We recommend: To minimize the risk of sun fading, it's important to shield the furniture from intense sunlight during the summer months. We recommend to move the furniture away from the window when, for example, you're away during the summer or alternatively, cover it with a curtain or sheet to protect it from direct sunlight.
Wood - ash tree
The wood species "ash" is highly durable because it is resistant to moisture. A chair or table made of solid ash rarely has problems with usability over generations, provided that you care for and maintain your furniture properly. However, you should still be aware that stains from other liquids can easily occur if you do not wipe up the liquid immediately.
Stain and dirt: To reduce the risk of permanent stains, always remove spilled food and wipe away residues or liquids immediately. Regardless of the surface treatment, use coasters or other protective pads for glasses and cups on your coffee table, as rings on the table are the most common type of stains. If food or drink is spilled, you can usually easily wipe the affected area with a damp cloth. For more ingrained dirt stains, you can sand them away with fine sandpaper and then apply a bit of new surface treatment to the area.
We recommend: Avoid placing your wooden furniture in direct sunlight. In the initial period, the furniture may be particularly sensitive to light.

Wood - poplar burl
Poplar burl wood is a type of wood that comes from knots, roots, or irregular growth on the poplar tree. Poplar burl wood is highly sought after for its unique and intricate grain patterns, which develop in response to stress, injury, or disease. Poplar burl wood is known for its striking appearance, including swirls, eyes, and waves in the tree's grain structure. The wood can vary in color from light brown to dark brown and occasionally features hints of green or yellow. This makes each piece of furniture entirely unique. One of the reasons poplar burl wood is highly valued is that it is relatively rare; the trees are native to North America, Europe, and Asia.

Martindale
Martindale is a measure of how durable a fabric is. The Martindale value of a fabric indicates how many cycles of rubbing a fabric-covered disc can withstand before the threads break. This means that the higher the Martindale value, the greater the durability of the fabric. For home use, a Martindale value of over 15,000 is typically recommended. For public environments, a value of around 30,000 is suitable.
