This rug is part of a collaboration between LAYERED and multidisciplinary artist Heather Chontos, known for her abstract compositions where bold colors and dynamic shapes take center stage. Each piece is handcrafted from 100% New Zealand wool, valued for its softness and quality.
The rugs are made through an intricate hand-knotting process, where artisans use multiple yarn shades and dyeing techniques to capture the depth and vibrancy of Chontos’ visual language. The result is a tactile interpretation of her dynamic artworks, combining craftsmanship with contemporary artistic expression.

We offer a 30-day return policy for items at regular price, including blankets, cushions, and rugs in standard sizes. Products purchased from our Archive, i.e. items at a reduced price, come with a 14-day return period. Read more about returns and associated costs here.
