Colorist and designer Tekla Evelina Severin presents her second rug collection for LAYERED. The collection picks up where Teklan first collection, The Prism Collection, left off—but moves beyond color-blocking and basic forms into a more exploratory landscape of framing, optical effects, and three-dimensional illusions.

ABOUT TEKLAN
Tekla Severin – also known as Teklan – is an internationally recognized, multidisciplinary designer and interior architect celebrated for her masterful use of color. She is known for combining unexpected tones to create visually striking environments that feel both contemporary and timeless.
The collection consists of six new tufted rugs made from 100% wool, where color, geometry, and spatial references interact in a world that balances between the architectural and the playful. Built around three core designs — Diagonal, Labyrinth, and Fregio — the collection presents each in two color variations.
THE PRISM PALETTE COLLECTION
Launched in 2023, the Prism Palette Collection is inspired by Italian 3D patterns, optical illusions, and irregular octagons — all in true Teklan spirit.
