Shaggy: one of LAYERED’s earliest rug designs and a timeless classic in the collection. This traditionally handwoven shaggy rug from Greece is made of 100% wool and features a soft, long pile that creates a pleasant feel and a timeless appearance. It is crafted following a 2,000-year-old Greek tradition, where the wool is washed in waterfalls, giving each rug a lively and natural expression.
The color oatmeal is a sophisticated beige hue with warm undertones.
Due to the natural properties of wool, some shedding may occur, this will diminish over time, although a certain amount of shedding will always remain. The rug is also available in an organic shape, for those who prefer a more playful and distinctive look.
Please note that colors may appear different depending on lighting and surrounding environments. Lifestyle images may vary slightly in tone compared to product images taken in neutral lighting. We recommend ordering samples to ensure how the color appears in your home.

Material & Care
- Material: 100% Wool
- Cleaning: Vacuum regularly without a brush. For deeper cleaning, it is recommended to use a laundry service for flat washing. Due to their long pile and natural materials, pile rugs tend to shed fibers. After regular vacuuming, the shedding will decrease over time, but it will never completely stop.
- Stain removal: Wipe the stain carefully with a mixture of lukewarm water and soap. Absorb excess liquid with a dry microfiber cloth.
